WHO IS THIS FOR?

All CT Homeschooling families (all ages) are invited to this FREE event, and all CT House Representatives and Senators.

WHY DO WE DO IT?

To create an opportunity for relaxed, friendly conversation between homeschooling families and their legislators, while providing information regarding home education. Families have also said that they are more comfortable coming to the Capitol and talking with legislators after attending Capitol Day!

WHAT TO EXPECT?

Capitol Day runs from 9:00 - noon at the Capitol building in Hartford, with opportunities for families and legislators to share conversations over coffee & pastries, quiet activities to entertain little ones and tours and area field trips for afterward - we encourage you to make a day of it!

HOW TO GET INVOLVED?

There are MANY opportunities to get involved, and there will be limited space for group displays. We could use help with quiet activities for the younger set and welcome teens to get civically involved!
