BROOKFIELD, Connecticut, Thursday, March 4, 2021: Northeast Rush and Connecticut Rush West, today announced the partnership with Liberty Football Academy. The program will operate as CT Rush Liberty and will immediately serve Brookfield and neighboring communities.

I have known Jeff and Scott for a while now, and I am impressed by their efforts to provide the best environment and highest level of coaching for their players, said Renato Topalli, CT Rush West General Manager. "In a short period, Liberty built a special club and atmosphere. With Rush resources and player pathways, we will be able to offer that much more to all our Liberty players".
Liberty Football Academy was formed in 2013 by lifelong friends, Jeff Garofalo and Scott Wright. Originally supported by Brookfield Soccer Club, the program formed elite level teams in 2017 competing in US Club Soccer competition. The club has grown to 120 members, who will transition under the Northeast Rush umbrella.

Garofalo and Wright are two of only eighteen coaches in the USA with the LaLiga Methodology Certification, which provides insight into the structure, development, and culture of some of the leading soccer academies in world soccer. This expanded education will further deepen the strength of the Northeast Rush coaching slate, which already boasts some of the region's top coaches.
