Understanding Your Management Style with DiSC

A CT Transportation Leadership Program ELECTIVE Workshop and Alumni Event

Have you ever wondered why some people just don’t get it? Do you have an employee you just can’t get through to? Most of us have dealt with these

challenges at one time or another. The good news is there’s a simple tool designed to help you

understand yourself AND other people too!

Join us in this session to learn more about

understanding our behaviors and how to adjust them to make the team the best it can be. Participants will complete a DiSC assessment to learn their own behavioral styles and will gain access to tools to improve work productivity, teamwork and communication.

The afternoon session will include a roundtable discussion on current workforce challenges and allow a chance for Program Alumni to connect and interact around these and other topics.

DiSC Program Facilitator

Celeste Barros is an educator, facilitator and coach whose work focuses on customized

interactive learning programs designed to enhance and build management and leadership skills. Celeste has an active consultation business and also serves as the architect and lead instructor for the leadership and management development program for the staff at the University of Connecticut.

Registration

This course requires completion of an online DiSC Assessment prior to the session so be sure to register early. Directions will follow receipt of registration.
