This TB-focused RAP grant is supported by the UCSF Center for Tuberculosis and is uniquely open to UCSF and UC Berkeley. Investigators with backgrounds in clinical, basic, behavioral-epidemiological, implementation, and/or health disparities TB research are welcomed to apply.  


Who is eligible? Postdocs, Clinical fellows, Assistant Professors. Investigators must be at either UCSF or UC Berkeley. *Please check full eligibility criteria here.

UNITE4TB Webinar:

“Global Panel discussion on global burden of TB”

March 3, 2022 | 4am PST (recorded)

The first UNITE4TB webinar will be recorded and posted on the ERS site. The webinar will be chaired by Raquel Duarte & Christoph Lange, and three early stage investigators (Raquel Villar Hernandez, Arash Ghodousi, Olha Konstantynovska) will present.  

 

The topics to be covered: 

  • Epidemiology of TB (estimates of incidence, mortality, drug-resistant TB estimates, TB/HIV);  
  • International targets and progress towards them; 
  • New challenges and strategies to move forward; 
  • Global End TB Strategy to face the challenge.

Dr. Ginsberg's talk will be followed by Dr. Sara Suliman, Assistant Professor of Medicine at UCSF, Division of Experimental Medicine.
