Team Science Award in TB
TB RAP Award for $80,000
| |
The UCSF Center for Tuberculosis will provide funds for a “Team Science” grant for innovative research on tuberculosis. The goal of this award is to stimulate new collaborations of UCSF scientists from diverse fields, including social, basic, clinical and translational research that requires an innovative, multidisciplinary approach.
The goal is for team diversity to be reflected in both scientific discipline and the under-represented minority status of team members. Scientific discipline diversity is required, and diversity in terms of gender and race/ethnicity of scientists on the team is preferred. At least one PI must be an Early Stage Investigator (ESI) defined as postdoctoral fellow, clinical fellow, or faculty at the Instructor and/or Assistant Professor level.
