Hello Friends of CTBTA,
 
Thank you to everyone who has already purchased their ticket for this year’s Playing for the Cure: Brainstormin’, we are looking forward to seeing you this Thursday, September 8th, at 6:00pm at Stony Creek Brewery. If you haven’t bought your ticket yet, it’s not too late! You can still purchase a ticket online now or tomorrow at the door.
 
Here are some other important items to note about the event:

  • Weather Advisory: Brainstormin’ will take place in rain or shine! We are keeping an eye on the forecast and have a plan in place with the brewery should we need to have most of the event inside.
 
  • Registration: You do not need to bring a physical ticket with you on Thursday; we will have your name on the list at registration. We do encourage everyone to purchase their ticket ahead of time to save you time at the door, but we will be accepting ticket purchases via cash, credit card, or check at the venue.
 
 
  • Food & Beverages:
  • Stony Creek will be providing one (1) complimentary beer to everyone who has purchased a Standard Ticket.
  • If you purchased a Premium Ticket or fundraised more than $250 for the event, you will receive an open bar for the entire evening. 
  • The brewery will have three food trucks on site with food available for purchase – Joey C’s BBQ, Naples Pizza and Los Mariachis.
  • Lolowich will also be donating ice cream sandwiches for everyone to enjoy at the event.
  • Please note that no outside food or beverage are allowed in the venue.
 
  • Entertainment: Enjoy performances by an acoustic duo from One Time Weekend and our special guest, Nick Fradiani!

  • Program: We will have a short program at 7:30pm to spotlight all our fundraisers and to honor some very special people. The June Rice Courage Award will be given to Gino Furano, Brett Lindenbach PhD, Eric M. Lowe, John O’Keefe and Jen Picagli. We will also be awarding Kelly Michaud, RN, BSN, with the Compassionate Care Award.
 
  • Raffle: The raffle is open! Check out our exciting items and start purchasing your raffle entries https://go.rallyup.com/brainstormin/Campaign/Details 
  • You can also text “CTBTA” to (855) 202-2100 to purchase raffle tickets (entries)
  • Raffle items will be on display at the venue on the night of the event on the second floor.
  • The Raffle closes at 9:00pm on September 8nd, and all participants will receive emails shortly after confirming whether or not they won an item.
  • If you are one of our lucky winners, please head to the raffle display tables and a staff member will help you claim your prize.
  • This year, we are also having a 50/50 raffle! Ticket prices are 1 for $15, 4 for $50 or 10 for $100. 
  • We encourage you to bring cash or use the ATM at the venue if you plan to participate.

  • Live Auction: We have four exciting live auction items for you to bid on at the event. The live auction will take place at approximately 8:00pm at the end of the program.
