📢 Call for Applications: Age-Friendly Care Practice Transformation

Applications are now open for a funded quality improvement initiative focused on implementing the 4Ms Framework (What Matters, Medication, Mentation, and Mobility) and supporting care partners of people living with dementia.


Participating primary care practices will receive up to $6,000, one-on-one practice facilitation, and an opportunity to earn national Age-Friendly Health Systems recognition.


Applications are due July 31, 2026. Learn more and apply today.

Improving Child Health in RI: CCBHCs, Mobile Crisis Response & Pediatric Care


Join CTC-RI's next Improving Child Health in RI session on Thursday, July 2, from 7:30–8:30 AM to learn how Rhode Island's Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs) and Mobile Response & Stabilization Services (MRSS) support children, families, pediatric practices, and schools.

CTC-RI Supports Providence CAN Wellness Fair


CTC-RI was proud to support the Providence CAN (Community Advisory Network) Wellness Fair on June 6 at Bucklin Park in Providence.


More than 200 community members attended the event, connecting with 25 local organizations and service providers offering health information, resources, and wellness support.


Events like these help strengthen community connections and improve access to the services and supports that promote healthier lives.

Pediatric Anxiety ECHO Strengthens Behavioral Health Care in Primary Care


CTC-RI recently completed its 12-month Pediatric Anxiety ECHO, engaging six pediatric practices in learning focused on the assessment and management of anxiety disorders in children and adolescents.


Participants reported significant gains in knowledge, confidence, and comfort addressing pediatric anxiety, including discussing anxiety with children and families and implementing evidence-based interventions.

Call for Speakers: RI World Diabetes Day 2026


The Rhode Island World Diabetes Day Planning Committee is accepting speaker and panel proposals for its 2026 virtual education series taking place throughout November. Healthcare professionals, researchers, educators, and community leaders are encouraged to submit presentations on diabetes prevention, management, and emerging topics in diabetes care. Selected sessions for the Healthcare Provider Education Series may be eligible for CME/CE credits, and honorariums may be available.


Proposal deadline: July 15, 2026, at 5:00 PM.

Become a Certified Application Counselor


Interested in helping Rhode Islanders access affordable health coverage? The Rhode Island Health Center Association (RIHCA) is recruiting individuals to become Certified Application Counselors (CACs).


CACs provide free, unbiased enrollment assistance and help community members navigate HealthSource RI, Medicaid, and commercial insurance options. Participants will also learn about upcoming changes to health coverage and available resources.
