Governors across the nation have been discussing and raising awareness for career and technical education (CTE) in their State of the State addresses. Extending the Runway: A 50-state Analysis of Middle School Career Exploration 

The American Student Association published a report, in collaboration with Education Strategy, that explores the resources and mechanisms that state leaders, school administrators, and CTE educators are leveraging to implement and expand middle grades career exploration. READ MORE

STUDENT VIDEO CONTEST

Student Video Contest Deadline is Fast Approaching!


ACTE and NASA HUNCH are always excited to host the student video challenge, which offers students the opportunity to showcase the application of CTE and project-based learning programs in high-demand career fields on Earth as well as in space. This year’s theme: “Why Go to the Moon?” The contest is open to students of all ages. Submit a two-minute video by April 1.

CTE RESEARCH NETWORK

The Impact of CTE on Student Outcomes


The CTE Research Network released a report that provides a systematic review of the research literature spanning the past 20 years. They found many positive impacts of CTE on high school student outcomes, including students’ academic achievement, high school completion, employability skills, and college readiness.
