Post-secondary has long recognized the importance of
building community in the classroom for student learning and engagement. But what about faculty? Where can instructors feel a sense of connectedness, belonging, trust, and acceptance? Teaching crosses disciplines and there is a shared experience in the commonalities (and sometimes the frustration) of developing curriculum, class activities, marking, and integrating technology. We hope that the CTE can be a place to build
faculty networks and community around your teaching practices. Come join our communities of practice, faculty learning communities, lunch and learns, or drop by to explore or share new ideas.
