Need a place to take a break?

We invite you to join your peers in the ‘Rejuvenate Space’. The space affords conference attendees an opportunity to take a brief break from conference sessions.

The Rejuvenate Space provides all conference attendees the opportunity to:

Access refreshments
Speed network with your peers
Do fun activities (e.g., board games)
Get conference giveaways
Participate in a low level wellness activity

Our schedule is conveniently located on Sched so you can easily see the Summit tracks, speakers, locations, and recommended audiences.

We will be sending out instructions and email invitations to all paid registered CTE Summit participants in October on how to create a SCHED profile/account and sign up for the limited sessions.

CTE Hands-On Exploration Sessions at Alexandria Technical and Community College

These sessions are facilitated by faculty and students on site at Alexandria Technical and Community College. You’ll get the opportunity to explore what it’s like to be in a career and technical program classroom, learn about the curriculum, and gain a better understanding—and appreciation—for technical programs and career pathways. There are limited spots for these sessions, so be sure to sign up using the SCHED app.

Registration is only $90 and includes breakfast and lunch! The summit is limited to 300 attendees this year, be sure to register early to secure your spot!

Do you need accommodations?

Complete this form to request reasonable accommodations to participate in the CTE Works! Summit. We require two-week advance notice prior to November 1, 2022 (the date of the event) in order to provide the requested accommodation and we ask for a 48-hour notice to cancel the request.

About the Summit

This annual Summit is planned by committee members comprised of educators from Minnesota State, Minnesota Department of Education, Perkins Consortium Leaders, and the eight Minnesota State Centers of Excellence in partnership with Alexandria Technical and Community College. It has continued to grow over the years into the premier conference connecting the career and technical education community in the Upper Midwest. Participants and presenters alike come from high school, colleges and universities, workforce, local business and industry partners, and our local communities to convene once a year to share best practices in their field, network, and continue their professional development. CEUs are offered for college and secondary participants.
