Last month, Washington STEM led a cross-sector team to the LAUNCH
conference in Indianapolis to share experiences on building equitable and accelerated career pathways.
Our team included policymakers, teachers, and school board members from Tacoma, Elma and Richland who shared experiences creating equitable career pathway for students that provide credentials of value, and focus on local control.
Jayme Shoun, Washington STEM's policy director, said: “What makes Washington unique is our region-focused solutions for career pathways. Having a team that represents these variations means our solutions will have more impact."
