Thanks for the pic, Allison.

I started this year with the goal of sending out one newsletter each month. So here I am. Month 12. These things usually write themselves because I'm happy to share what I've been up to. So we'll start there.

I ended up making 128 of these.

Want to see all of these poster/exercise/things in one place? OK. Here you go: semispheres.tyfromtheinternet.com. It'll randomly sort it, but on desktop you can toggle "chronological" in the upper right to see how some months I followed similar palettes. 10/10, would recommend this little warm up activity to anyone.

a huge photo collage

Fun challenge to myself (and I take too many photos). What if I could only keep one image from the whole year. What would it be? Well, I wrote a short little thing to answer just that. Click through for my selection. There were many "top 10" contenders. But that's not the point. Just one.

Faves from other places

Enough about stuff I make. now time for stuff that I enjoyed this year that was new to me.

dungeon crawler carl

BOOK(S)

Dungeon Crawler Carl

Easily the most addictive series I've ever read. Hilarious, fast, genuinely interesting. I'm on book 5 currently, loving the fact that I have several more to look forward to.
Runner up: Shark Heart, by Emily Habeck

MOVIE

Inherent Vice

Somehow I missed this (checks notes) 11 years ago! But I think it's wonderful. PTA + Johnny Greenwood = perfection. Absolute blast.
Runner up: Men

Oh my, this is unhinged genius level stuff. I won't say anything other than...watch it.
Runner up: Pluribus

Glow On

By Turnstile. Yes, Never Enough is good. I like this better.
Runner up: Tron: Ares - Nine Inch Nails

OK let's wrap this up. 2025 is done. It had ups and downs, like every year. I'm famously annoying for saying "it could always be worse" but you know what, it's true. Am I going to keep going with these monthly newsletters? Only one way to find out.
