Dear colleagues,

As we enter year three of our grant cycle, we are leaning into the momentum we've built to elevate the impact of our work across the translational science spectrum. This year, we are aligning even more closely with the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) priorities—supporting research that addresses chronic and rare diseases, promoting scientific rigor and reproducibility, and driving innovation that accelerates real-world breakthroughs. Our progress depends on continued collaboration between our partner institutions as trusted advisors, research partners, and champions for change.

In this newsletter, we’re proud to highlight the dynamic efforts happening across the CTSC—from promising pilot projects to growing collaborations and upcoming events. Please consider joining us for a variety of webinars where investigators, research staff, and community members come together to share ideas, exchange perspectives, and spark new collaborations that drive meaningful research forward.

We encourage you to stay connected and engaged with the CTSC—join our events, provide feedback, and take advantage of our many resources and services. Together, we can broaden the reach and impact of clinical and translational research while advancing science that truly makes a difference in people’s lives.

Enjoy the rest of the summer and please reach out if we could help your research in any way!

Congratulations to our Core Utilization Pilot Awardees!

Core Utilization Pilot awards are intended to support initial stages of new research projects, with a special emphasis on innovative, interdisciplinary, and collaborative projects that advance a researhc project to the point at which it can attract external funding and/or peer-reviewed publications.

Join us in congratulating these investigators on their selected projects which will use elligible Core facilities at our partner institutions. Proposals are accepted on a rolling basis and are due on the first day of every month. Learn more about our Core Utilization Pilot Program.
