Community Engagement Studios:

Seeking Community Input for Your Research

Are you a researcher looking to gather valuable patient or community insights to strengthen your work? Community Engagement (CE) Studios offer an evidence-based consultative model—either in-person or virtually—to help inform study design, implementation, dissemination, and sustainability, while building community-academic partnerships. To prepare, you will create a 1-page overview, a 1-minute introductory video, and a brief presentation. Investigators may apply for a CTSC voucher ($7,500 for in-person or $6,775 for virtual studios) in SPARC.

For details, contact Dr. Ivory Simms

Congratulations to our Core Utilization Pilot Awardees!

Core Utilization Pilot awards are intended to support initial stages of new research projects, with a special emphasis on innovative, interdisciplinary, and collaborative projects that advance a research project to the point at which it can attract external funding and/or peer-reviewed publications.

Join us in congratulating these investigators on their selected projects, which will use eligible Core facilities at our partner institutions. Proposals are accepted on a rolling basis and are due on the first day of every month.
