Dear Colleagues,

We are reaching out to share the first update from the Case Western Reserve University Clinical and Translational Science Collaborative (CTSC) Workforce Development (WFD) Team. Our goal is to strengthen connections with schools, professionals, and community partners to increase awareness of meaningful careers in clinical research. We hope you will find these opportunities valuable and will share them with students or colleagues who may be interested.

We will be sending quarterly updates, and we encourage you to sign up for a free CTSC Membership so you don’t miss future opportunities and resources.

The CTSC is an NIH‑funded program dedicated to accelerating the translation of scientific discoveries into improved health outcomes. As part of this mission, the Workforce Development Program focuses on expanding the clinical research workforce by developing and sharing educational resources that support career exploration and professional growth at every stage.

The goals of the WFD program include:

  • Introduce students and the community to the dynamic and impactful field of

clinical research

  • Support guidance counselors and career fair coordinators with educational

materials, presentations, and networking resources

  • Disseminate content on Clinical Research education through WFD Canvas Catalog, a free online learning platform (coming soon!)
