Meet the UCC GMP!

This morning we had an opportunity to meet and greet the Rev. Dr. Karen Georgia Thompson, the newly installed General Minister and President of our denomination, the United Church of Christ (UCC)!

If you weren't able to attend or just want to hear from her again, there will be another opportunity hosted by the Hawai‘i Conference UCC at our Honolulu campus on Saturday, November 25 from 2-4 PM.

Read more HERE.

Get Ready for Advent!

All are welcome to join CUC's Children's Ministry in preparing for Advent with the annual Advent Workshop on November 26 at 10 AM. We will explore the meaning of Advent, get ready for celebrating Advent at home, and fellowship!

A Christmas Carol Advent Study

The classic tale of Ebenezer Scrooge is a cherished symbol of Christmas and a wonderful story of redemption and hope – perfect for a study in Advent!

Plan to join Pastor Mary on Tuesday evenings at 7 PM to bring together this ageless story with a study of our scriptures. We will gather in the Rewick Board Room on Nov. 28, Dec. 5, Dec. 12, and Dec 19. Whether you are feeling the Christmas Spirit this year or are full of “Bah humbugs!” we hope you will join us!

Poinsettias for Christmas

The Flower Committee will distribute poinsettias among our various worship spaces in time for Christmas! If you’d like to donate and dedicate a poinsettia, please submit your order by Monday, December 18.

You may complete a hard-copy order form (printed in the Sunday worship bulletins) OR you can order online!
