Advent Devotional
We begin Advent this Sunday! It is a season of waiting and preparing our hearts for the coming of Christ on Christmas which lasts for 12 days until Epiphany.
Reflect with us throughout this time as we ask, How does a weary world rejoice?
| |
This year on the winter solstice, the longest night, we will offer A Worship Service for the Weary for all in the community who need the space to grieve, mourn, or just “be”. Read more HERE. There will also be a simple service made available online.

Give a Gift!
It’s that time of the year again – White Gifts time! The White Gifts story reminds us that all people are valued, and we can all offer something to bless others. This year, help us to care for adults and families who are houseless or in transition.
| |
While we won’t be accepting items and wrapped gifts, you can partner with us by offering a monetary donation. Then, our savvy shoppers will purchase the items requested by our local partner organizations. They will help us distribute them to those in need in our community. Make your donations before December 10 by cash, check, or card (online) and be sure to indicate “White Gifts” on your donation!
Join us on December 17 at 9 AM for our celebration and pageant in worship! All keiki are invited to check in for Sunday School and participate in the pageant – we’ll have costumes ready for them. We look forward to this treasured tradition!

A Christmas Carol Advent Study
|
The classic tale of Ebenezer Scrooge is a cherished symbol of Christmas and a wonderful story of redemption and hope – perfect for a study in Advent!
Join Pastor Mary for three more Tuesdays Dec. 5, 12, and 19 from 6:00-7:30 PM in the Rewick Board Room to bring together this ageless story with a study of our scriptures. Whether you are feeling the Christmas Spirit this year or are full of “Bah humbugs!” we hope you will join us!
