Digger has been in CCTV inspection equipment manufacturing for over 30 years, with the last 22 years at CUES, and will be retiring at the end of March. This presentation will take you from the beginning of sewer inspection equipment to where we are today and will allow you to make an informed decision when it comes time to invest in your next sewer inspection equipment purchase.

Lateral & Mainline Probe II: Unparalleled Production for LATERAL LAUNCHING & Cross Bore Inspection

To remedy potential cross bore risks and to protect/locate buried assets and the surrounding environment, use the CUES LAMP II. LAMP II (Lateral and Mainline Probe II) is an inspection tool for identifying infiltration and inflow, potential cross-bores, pipe defects, and structural conditions in lateral services and mainlines. LAMP II offers an optional Micro or Mini Pan & Tilt Camera to inspect lateral services. Mainline inspection is accomplished with a pan, tilt, and 40:1 zoom camera. LAMP II can pull 1000 ft. video cable, reducing traffic control expenses while increasing production, and launching 150 ft. or more into the lateral. Contact CUES today for a free demo!

Register Today: Grout School 2024

Avanti Grout, CUES, and Logiball are partnering together again on March 13th-14th, 2024, for their annual 2-Day Municipal Sewer Grout School in Tavares, Florida. Both “newbies” and veterans will actively participate in the breakout and classroom sessions. The Municipal Sewer Grout School will help you understand how and why injection grouting stops groundwater infiltration into sewer collections.

An emphasis will be placed on grouting, safety, operating the equipment, testing and troubleshooting equipment, making sure the chemical grout mix has the right mixture, and determining how much grout is used per joint or lateral. Also, learn about the CUES EZ Grout Panel, which is instrumental for training with a minimal learning curve, accurate recording/timing for air tests, packer pressure, and injecting the grout properly.

No matter your level of experience, you should consider attending this grout school! To register, click the link below or download the full agenda for additional information.

Complying with Environmental Regulations:

Municipality Responsibilities in Sewer Inspections

Municipalities across the US must comply with environmental regulations when it comes to sewer inspections and wastewater systems. When it comes to environmental regulations, most of the municipalities we talk to have their hands full. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has stringent laws to follow, and state agencies frequently add their own requirements on top of them.

Failure to comply could result in hefty fines, but it could also lead to public backlash. As local residents become better informed and more mindful of the environment, fines and penalties could lead to decreased trust in municipalities to properly manage waterways. Read our blog for the most common violations and how to follow a CMOM program.
