Kathy Solum would like healing prayers for their nephew's wife, Susie, and daughter, Alison, both dealing with COVID.

Continued prayers for Mary Slade who has been transferred to Ivy Court skilled nursing and rehab (2200 Ironwood Place). She hopes to return home in the next week or 2.

Prayers for Colleen and Monty Briggs. Monty has returned home following hospitalization for a broken pelvis but will need home health and lots of care from Colleen for a while.

Harry and Cheryl Reed ask prayers for their granddaughter Faith who continues to struggle with life

Heather Rhodes would like prayers for her Aunt whose melanoma has recently returned, She is under-going immunotherapy. Also for her daughter, Heather's cousin, diagnosed with breast cancer. She started chemotherapy yesterday.

Bill and Kathy Solum request prayers for strength, courage and wisdom for their son Scott as he faces difficult life decisions.

Ron James asks for continued prayers for his fishing partner Bob who is still in the hospital recovering from 2 open-heart surgeries.

*Praise: Micah Sharples, who had monoclonal antibody treatment, was given the OK from physicians to return to college this past Saturday! Michelle Faucher-Sharples requests continued prayers that the treatment has made a difference and Micah's health continues to improve.

Free N-95 masks from the Strategic National Stockpile, will be made available at a number of local pharmacies and community health centers by early February. There will be a limit of 3 masks per person.

There have been many new books brought in for the CUMC Book Exchange and Margie Wise has been busy updating the shelves!
Be sure to stop by the office to check out the new selections and pick up a book or 2.

There's no need to sign them out and you can return them or pass them on to a friend. The books that were removed from the shelves are being held for the UMW Rummage Sale in the spring.
