A Blue Christmas Service is a time to acknowledge the feelings that surrounds Christmas for some of us, a time to remember the reason for those feelings, and a time to offer those feelings to God. This service offers a haven for people who desire a special touch from God during the holidays, and promises to be a time of quiet reflection, candle lighting, readings, singing, and prayer. We invite you to join us this Christmas season for a time of comfort and rest.
The service will be held in the Sanctuary and followed by light refreshments and shared fellowship. Please join us, and bring a friend. Hosted by CUMC’s Stephen Ministers

CUMC’s Jr. Youth Invite You to Help with
Annual Giving Tree
This year’s Giving Tree helps a family of children who lost their mother to cancer in September. Alison was a single mother to three amazing kids, June, 17, Eric, 15, and Isabelle, 13—students in the school district where one of our CUMC members teaches. This family has endured several financial setbacks over the past two years since Alison was unable to work due to the aggressiveness of her illness.  With this year's giving tree, and your support, our youth hope to bring a bit of joy to these children as they go through this difficult holiday season. Please return all unwrapped gifts and gift cards by Sunday, December 15th!
Here’s how you can still help:
1. For cards / tags with gifts, please sign your name by the corresponding item on the “Giving Tree” Donor Sign Out list on the door by the tree.
2.  Purchase the gift or gift certificate or make a cash/check donation (made out to Chatham United Methodist Church, note: Giving Tree)
3.  Attach the holiday gift card / tag to the purchase gift . Please do not wrap the gifts. Gift bags or unsealed decorative boxes are okay.
4.  Place gifts under the tree by Sunday, December 15 . (Cash/gift cards can be placed in the decorated Gift box in the church office.
