STUDENT CENTER
Kimberlee Rios, City Tech ’20, is the program coordinator of CUNY Cultural Corps, CUNY’s paid internship program for students interested in the arts. With a passion for the arts herself, she pursued a degree in communication design and gained experience in graphics and advertising, becoming a finalist for City Tech’s Fall 2020 Senior Project Showcase. After graduation, Kimberlee transitioned from a part-time role as an events engagement assistant at Cultural Corps to her current full-time position. She continues to help students obtain internships and employment at cultural institutions and organizations across the city.
Kimberlee's Advice:  “Make yourself familiar with the Career Service Center on campus. I gained so much professional experience by taking part in various CUNY-affiliated internship programs such as Service Corps, SYEP and Cultural Corps. You are able to utilize the skills you learn in college, meet new people and figure out how to best shape your career.”
