In 2024, we had another exciting year. We kicked off the year by hosting our 12th Annual CUSBA Cross-Border Economic Forecast meeting on February 6, 2024, featuring economists from CIBC Capital Markets and the Detroit Branch of the Chicago Federal Reserve Bank. We were pleased to have over 85 participants in person at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, Detroit Branch and another 30 participating virtually. In addition, we were a Platinum Sponsor for the Grand Prix Viewing Party hosted by the Consulate General of Canada, Detroit on June 2, 2024, a Sponsor for the CN Forum 2024 hosted by the Michigan State University Canadian Studies Center on September 27, 2024, and a Bronze Sponsor for the State of the Strait Conference 2024 at the University of Windsor on October 22, 2024. Then, on October 30, 2024, together with GFMA Global Strategy Advisors Inc., we also co-hosted the Working Together: Canada and USA Collaboration for Success Virtual Event.
Throughout the year, we have also been working diligently on a complete redesign of our website. The last few details are being worked on, and we are looking forward to launching it shortly after the new year. We ask that you renew your membership with CUSBA if you wish to be included on our members list once the new website is launched.
