Happy Easter and Happy Spring! This is an exciting time of year as Christians and at Concordia University. Easter and spring is a time for new beginnings and excitement of what the future holds for us. For over 1,200 of our students, it will be the beginning of a new chapter in their lives as they graduate and join our 33,000 plus distinguished CUW alumni – You!

We are proud of our alumni and students. There are so many stories to tell and so many untold yet. We encourage you to review the articles below but also check out the CUW news blog and tell us your updates so we can share them in the alumni updates .

As you plan your spring and summer, we would love to see you back on campus. There are many opportunities and events for you, and we hope you will consider joining us and your fellow classmates and faculty. CUW alum Zach Zehnder discusses Red Letter Challenge
Congratulations to 2004 alumnus Zach Zehnder, whose new book has become popular among congregations.  Red Letter Challenge  is a 40-day life-changing discipleship challenge. Since the January 2018 launch of The Red Letter Challenge, over 30,000 copies have been sold, and its popularity continues to escalate. Many congregations did the challenge during Lent, but it could be done anytime. Concordia alumna’s expertise earns her prestigious Novartis lecture invite
The multi-billion-dollar-grossing Swiss drug company Novartis has taken note of a CUW physician assistant alumna’s expertise in the field of rheumatologic disorders. Earlier this year, Brittney Ohlrogge, a 2017 graduate, delivered a lecture in front of several dozen members of the Rheumatology Nurses Society at the annual Pacific Coast Rheumatology Forum during an evening symposium that was sponsored by Novartis. Genesis 5 year class reunion
June 28-29
Attention School of Pharmacy Genesis Class of 2014! Mark your calendars for June 28-29. Plans are underway to celebrate five years since your graduation. The reunion will kick off with a reception, which will allow you to reconnect with your classmates as well as your professors. CUW partners with community
to stop bullying

More than 250 elementary, middle and high school students from parochial and public area schools recently participated in a moving anti-bullying conference and story slam at CUW. The goal of the conference was for these students to showcase what they learned from CUW faculty and students about bullying and affirmations. The event was the culmination of a year of planning by a task force led by Concordia faculty, Psychology students, and Psychologists from the Wisconsin Psychological Association.
