As 2022 comes to a close, your CV SBDC team is looking forward to the holiday season after planning some big events coming in 2023! Over the course of 2022, CV SBDC business partners served nearly 1,000 clients, provided over 5,000 hours of 1:1 advising, and offered over 80 training programs. We have tackled a vast variety of quandaries and questions with enthusiasm -- doing our best to arm small business owners with information, connections and resources to grow and increase profitability.
Our team had many opportunities to celebrate success this year, both our own and the successes of others in our community. We joined our host, Community Investment Collaborative, for CIC10, a night of celebrating their 10 year anniversary serving the community and it's entrepreneurs.
Louisa County Chamber of Commerce recognized CV SBDC as Community Partner of the Year.

CV SBDC Director, Rebecca Haydock was honored as the 2022 Virginia SBDC State Star.
We joined countless entrepreneurs for pitch competition wins, storefront grand openings, website launches, and many other accomplishments along the way.
This year CV SBDC welcomed two wonderful new Assistant Directors and Business Advisors, Ariel Bredder (primarily serving Charlottesville, Albemarle, Nelson, Fluvanna, and Louisa) and Rosi Beachy (primarily serving Culpeper, Orange, Greene, Madison, and Rappahannock). With these additions, we are better positioned to serve all small businesses in the Central Virginia region in 2023.

All of the success and accomplishments in 2022 would not have been possible without the small businesses, our economic development partners, sponsors and donors, fellow entrepreneur support organizations, the Virginia and America's SBDC networks, and beyond. Thank you from our entire team for trusting us to be your partners in business and helping to build amazing communities throughout Central Virginia.
