CV School Board At A Glance will be provided after each legislative board meeting. The most recent meeting took place on Tuesday, September 24, 2024.

The board welcomed student board representatives Brady Baranowski and Layla Asbury. The students provided reports on academic, athletic, and activities.

Interim Superintendent Dr. Joe Dimperio reported on the upcoming Superintendent forums and the survey to the public through September 30.

A thank you to Pete Celender for getting the stadium construction wrapped up in time for the first varsity football game on Friday, September 13.

Herb Ohliger provided an update from the Pathfinder School.

Lisa Trainor provided an update about the Allegheny Intermediate Unit.

Jeff Choura updated the board about Parkway West CTC.

The next Board meeting will take place on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. in the Intermediate School Auditorium.

The Chartiers Valley School District Board of Director meetings are scheduled on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month in the Intermediate School Auditorium located at 2030 Swallow Hill Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15220.  For the Board meeting schedule, agendas, and official minutes, as well as copies of the various reports presented - please refer to the Chartiers Valley Website, District Calendar, Meeting Agendas, and Meeting Minutes. 

Superintendent Search

The Chartiers Valley Board of School Directors is in the process of finding the district’s next superintendent and Dr. Joseph Dimperio is conducting the search. The Board has asked its search consultant to conduct a series of focus group discussions, and we are now providing an opportunity for stakeholders to provide their thoughts and opinions through an online survey. You can click here to access the survey. The survey link will remain open through September 30.

The community is invited to an in-person forum on Tuesday, October 1, from 7 to 8 p.m. in the District Administration Room at 2030 Swallow Hill Road. RSVP is not required.
