New restrictions, Town Hall meeting, helpful information for employers

Local governments now have plans in place to handle services normally provided to the construction industry. Click here for a compilation of those plans that were released last week as Municipal Updates. We continue to stay in touch with all the localities and will let you know of any additional changes in their operating procedures.

Gov. Ralph Northam issued an Executive Order yesterday implementing business closures statewide but it appears that the order will have a limited impact on the construction industry’s ability to continue operations . Click here for the comprehensive review provided by HBAV.

Community "give back" program

Along with his staff at M&M Hospitality Group, Brian Mullins, a past PHBA and HBAV president turned restauranteur, is providing free boxed meals this Friday, March 27 to those in need.

This past Friday, the group provided 1,500 meals in less than two hours, with the help of sponsors Southern Bank, Rose & Womble Realty, Sinclair Communications and MY33.
