CVBIA Update: March 24, 2020
New restrictions, Town Hall meeting, helpful information for employers

Local governments now have plans in place to handle services normally provided to the construction industry. Click here for a compilation of those plans that were released last week as Municipal Updates. We continue to stay in touch with all the localities and will let you know of any additional changes in their operating procedures.

Gov. Ralph Northam issued an Executive Order yesterday implementing business closures statewide but it appears that the order will have a limited impact on the construction industry’s ability to continue operations . Click here for the comprehensive review provided by HBAV.

HBAV is holding a Membership Town Hall at noon tomorrow, March 25, to discuss this order and other issues impacting our industry. Click here to register for this free online meeting.

Association member and benefits partner One Digital has released a variety of articles to help employers during this unprecedented time, including the ones listed below:

One Digital also presented a webinar recently on FMLA and Furlough Considerations for Small Employers. To listen in, click here .

As CVBIA continues to receive updates and information on things that affect your business, we'll share those with you.

Best regards,
Ryan Rose, CVBIA President
