Greetings!
What a kickoff to ICOM (In the Company of Men) last Saturday! Invite the men in your life--it's not to late to get involved.
There are two assignments for our next meeting (Sat 7/16 9am):
2) Read the first two chapters of WILD AT HEART and answer these 4 questions before our next meeting (Sat 7/16 9am):
- What were your favorite movies growing up? Why were they your favorites?
- The author writes “Deep in his heart, every man longs for a battle to fight, an adventure to live, and a beauty to rescue.” How have these concepts expressed themselves in your life? Give specific examples.
- On page 23, the author asks: "Is God like Mother Teresa or William Wallace?" Many say God is only like Mother Teresa, but the author gives examples of God being like William Wallace. Are you more Mother Teresa or William Wallace (or a balance of the two) in your daily life? Give examples.
- What does society tell us about men? How does this perception of men impact your life today?
