The Legacy Gala - Grow the Legacy
Save the Date for Thursday, April 11, 2019 , 6:30-9:30 at JUMP in downtown Boise. Dinner, Inspiration, Games, and Auction. Tickets and Sponsorships are now available for purchase. Reserve your spot to grow the excellence of CVCS alongside fans of Cole Valley Christian.
Superintendent's Communication Meeting
Plan on joining us for MOMENTUM. Attendance at one of these meetings is required to recommit your students for the 2019-2020 school year. At this meeting, you will hear reflection and direction from Dr. Jordan. Celebrate with us and get a vision for the future of CVCS.  Monday, Feb. 4, 6:30 pm at Secondary, Thursday, Feb. 7, 8:45 am at Elementary or Tuesday, Feb. 12, 6:30 pm at Secondary. Families will receive information on how to recommit and reserve their student's spot for next school year following their attendance. Please RSVP so we can plan appropriately. Childcare is provided for children 2 years and older (and potty trained).
Upcoming Campus Previews
Jr. High Preview - Friday, Feb. 8th
6th graders and their parents spend the morning at the Secondary Campus getting a glimpse into the transition ahead to Jr. High. 8:30 am - Noon. Invite friends with Junior High students to check out CVCS at this informative event.

Daddy Daughter Dance - Friday, Feb. 8th
Daddies, invite your daughters to the Daddy Daughter Dance Friday Feb. 8th, 6:30-9:30 at the Elementary Campus. $5/ticket at the door. This is open to the entire Treasure Valley, so invite your friends to join you as you show your daughters how they should expect to be treated by their date in the future.

Outreach Opportunities
Kenya Outreach - Expansion International

Some of the high schoolers are going to Kenya with Expansion International April 12-22. If you would like to donate school supplies or candy for their VBS to bless the kids in Kenya, students can bring them to be collected in their homeroom or Bible Class by March 21st.
Boise Rescue Mission

Each month our Secondary students have an opportunity to prepare and serve a meal at the Boise Rescue Mission on the 3rd Monday of the month. Monday January 21st is our next opportunity.

Women in Prayer
Did you know parents meet to pray over our school weekly? Join on Tuesday mornings at 8 am in the Annex. Contact Karter Raine for more information.

Men in Prayer
Dads and grandfathers meet 6:30 pm every 3rd Thursday. At the Elementary Campus on odd months and Secondary Campus on even months.Contact Darran Crager for more information.
BRAVO to Award Winners
Congratulations to the members of BPA (Business Professionals of America) and Future City competitors who brought home multiple awards after competition last weekend. Best of luck to our Competition Robotics Team who will be competing in their first challenge this weekend.

A limited supply of Basketball Charger Gear available for youth and adults through the Charger Gear store. Order online and specify at which campus you would like it delivered for pick up.

New Secondary Campus Staff
Welcome Emilee Fortin as our new Secondary Campus Nurse and Leila Kerschensteiner
to the Business Office team. Emilee is mom to several CVCS students and is a Registered Nurse with sixteen years of experience at St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, including twelve years of experience in direct nursing.    Leila comes to CVCS with over 25 years of accounting experience in corporate and nonprofit companies. Her focus will be on supporting the Joshua Institute, financial reporting and supporting our school families.

Elementary Campus News
Jan. 28 - 1st Grade Watch Me Night
Plan on joining your first grader to see what they do in their Physical Education class. It's such a fun night to play with your student.
ACSI Speech Meet - Feb. 28
CVCS is hosting the ACSI Speech Meet after school on February 28th. Start planning your speech. More information is coming soon.
Extended Care on No School Days
Jan 21 - EC is closed
Feb 8 - Half Day: EC open from 12:30-6:00 pm
Feb 14 & 15 No school. EC open 7:30 am-6:00 pm
Feb 18 - EC is closed
If you will need extended care on days there is no school, please email Kim Sangster and let her know your need .

PTF Announcement: Valentines
Want to send a special Valentine’s Day treat to your students? The PTF has your back. Parents can order Valentines treats to surprise them at school. The order form will be sent in the communication folder on February 1st. Drop the forms off at the office. Treats will be delivered to students on February 13th (as there is no school on the 14th).

The Dr. Seuss’ week events will be even more awesome because you gave a treat to your kiddo. Mark your calendars to attend the carnival, March 7th.
