CVE Master Management has two ways to help save money during these tough times

We know one of your largest expenses is your condo. With prices rising, and many of our residents on a fixed income, CVE Master Management is committed to helping when we can. Below are two ways you can save money on your unit. One is by helping us keep the coupon low. The other is something to directly lower your electric bill. We hope you are able to take advantage of these two programs.
Avoid rising water rates - save water with every flush
One of the largest expenses paid out of your coupon is water service. Our village uses more water than just about any other customer in Deerfield Beach. Therefore, when the city raises water rates it makes a huge difference.

One way to help keep water usage down across the Village is to install low flow toilets.

Toilets are by far the main source of water use in the home, accounting for nearly 30 percent of an average home's indoor water consumption. Older, inefficient toilets that use as much as 6 gallons per flush also happen to be a major source of wasted water in many homes.

Recent advancements have allowed toilets to use 1.28 gallons per flush or less while still providing equal or superior performance.

When was the last time you replaced your toilet? You can get up to $100 to help install a new low flow toilet.

The City of Deerfield Beach has a program that will help pay for a new low flow toilet. Click HERE for more information.

Meanwhile, even if you don't replace your toilet, make sure it's not leaking! If you routinely hear it running when no one has used it, you probably have a leak that needs to be fixed.
FPL can lower your bill
Editor's note: We are resending this information because the FPL contact person in the last email is no longer with FPL. For information, please click the web link below.
Did you know FPL offers several FREE programs to lower your bill?

FPL assists customers with energy efficiency improvements to help lower their bills through its "Power to Save" program. A free, comprehensive home energy survey is performed, energy efficient measures are installed, and they offer energy savings tips to help customers save up to $500 in energy savings.

You can also save money with FPL's "On Call" program. This program gives FPL the option to temporarily switch off your air conditioning and/or heating along with the optional appliances you choose, such as your water heater. You could save more than $90 a year even if they never need to turn off your appliances.

New right turn lane at East Gate
Open, new & improved!
"Today was our first opportunity to use this entrance. AWESOME AWESOME AND AWESOME!!!!!

I would say that this is NOW my number 1 improvement in CVE."

Newport Q resident
In case you missed it, the new right turn lane into the East Gate is finished and open! We took the above picture during a recent afternoon downpour to show how the drainage and safety in the area has improved. Take a look at the left side of the picture. You will see all the water flowing into the swale instead of pooling on the roadway.
AGAIN!!!
Last month we featured a picture of someone in the Village getting an expensive reminder of our speed limits. Here is another. The extra BSO patrols paid for by CVE Master Management are no joke! They are here and they are serious about catching violators!
New roof on Activity Center
F.Y.I: We are putting a new roof on the Activity Center building. Just another capital improvement project to keep the Village in tip-top shape!
Check out the latest drone footage of our new neighbor: Toll Brothers' Sandpiper Pointe
The project is currently in Phase Three and is expected to be completed Spring 2023.
No soliciting in CVE
Please remember that inside the Village soliciting is not allowed.

If you notice it, don't hesitate to contact security.

We will have a rover handle the issue.

Message from the Executive Director
Thank you for your service to our Village
It is with great sadness that I have learned longtime Master Management Board of Directors member Joe Maney has decided to step down from his position on the Board. Joe currently serves as Treasurer for CVE Master Management.

For nearly five years, Joe has served our Board and community with grace and distinction while simultaneously serving as a longtime board member of Farnham D Association.

Joe has returned to his home state of Massachusetts to be closer to family. He will be missed by all. On behalf of our community, I extend my gratitude for Joe's leadership, dedication to our Village, financial stewardship, and overall decency.

His resignation is effective immediately. His position on the CVE Master Management Board of Directors will be filled during the elections scheduled for next January.
Be well. Stay Safe.
