Seven year repaving project completed
In 2015 Master Management began the important and ambitious task of repaving the majority of the Village within seven years. Last month, that seven year plan was completed.

Each summer for the past seven years, a section of the Village was targeted. Access roads, parking lots and major roadways were all repaved. It wasn't the fanciest capital improvement project Master Management has undertaken. Many more people notice renovated guard houses and new bus shelters before they ponder the asphalt under their feet. But it was one of the most important projects. It also represented something even more significant.

The repaving was an example of Master Management and individual building associations working together towards the betterment of our Village. In addition to paving its own roads, Master Management also repaved at its own expense several side roads that belong to buildings. Finally, Master Management was also able to provide the buildings significant discounts in the cost of repaving their parking lots as part of the larger project.

Meanwhile, on a related note Master Management is currently in the process of restriping the entire Village. This includes crosswalks and roadways. Repainting curbs is also part of the project.

Message from the Executive Director
It's beginning to feel like the old days!
Have you noticed?

I have!

Traveling around the Village it feels like the start of a normal, busy, exciting season. Our Canadian friends are returning in larger numbers than the past several years. Our other seasonal residents are right behind them.

As you may know, we have once again opened up our Board meetings to in person attendance. We invite you to attend, reconnect with old friends and perhaps make some new ones. Our next meeting is October 20th at 9:30am.

I also want to wish all our Jewish residents a Happy High Holy Days, and a sweet new year.

Finally, I want to extend my appreciation to our Master Management staff, our security team, and our communications team for their work during Hurricane Ian. During times of emergencies, our priorities are ensuring our community is safe and our residents fully informed. This past storm was the result of a true team effort to fulfill those promises.

As always, my door is open to anyone who has questions or comments about what is happening here in the Village. I look forward to speaking with you.
Be well. Stay Safe.
