SUMMER VILLAGE IMPROVEMENTS
TOP STORY
Summer improvements in full swing
Who ever said this was the "off" season? Not for CVE Master Management!
If you have ever asked the question "I wonder what my CVE Master Management coupon pays for," all you need to do is walk the village during July and August to get a pretty good idea.

Forget the winter holidays! Forget his birthday! This is the time of year that CVE Master Management Executive Director Val Smikle loves the most! The big dry erase board in his office is chock full of projects and updates. Every summer CVE Master Management has a long list of capital improvement projects underway. This summer, they include:
  • New roof for the Activity Center
  • Replacement of giant water valves for Newport
  • Resurface Tilford pool
  • Repaving near Lyndhurst
  • Repaving near Markham
  • Repaving near Harwood
  • Clean out storm drains (scroll down for an incredible story about this!)
  • New water meter for Grantham F
  • Replace directional signs on Century Boulevard
  • New bus shelter at Tilford B
  • New bus shelter at Durham pool
If that wasn't enough, towards the end of the summer CVE Master Management is also putting a new roof on Le Club.
You can always read the latest regarding our improvements on our capital projects website:

We're starting!
The permits are all but finished, and pre-construction meetings are being held for the complete redesign of the main gate house. We are excited to have this last phase of our gate renovations finally get underway!
Guess what we found!
We can't tell you if a tree grows in Brooklyn, but we can tell you a tree was growing in our storm drains!

We found it during our routine maintenance.

IMPORTANT TRANSPORTATION NEWS
Changes to night bus schedules
Due to reduced demand, the night bus schedules are changing.

Beginning now, and continuing through the end of September, the last bus on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays will run at 10:00pm.

Due to shows and Bingo, we will continue to run the buses until 11:00pm on Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Please make a note of the changes.

CVE Master Management Summer Friday hours
Please make a note: From August 5th through September 2nd, the CVE Master Management office will close at 2:00pm on Fridays.
SERIOUSLY!?
All this damage was done by ONE resident who had a few too many before getting behind the wheel! We tracked them down, and they are being held fully responsible for paying for repairs. Over $3,000 in damage was caused across the village.

The lessons here: 1) Of course never drive impaired, and 2) our team will be able to identify you and hold you responsible for any damage to our village.
Is your association trimming its trees?
Is your building taking care of your association's tree trimming?

CVE Master Management trims its trees twice per year as part of beautification, but also hurricane safety.

We urge you to make sure your association has a tree trimming schedule and is maintaining trees on its property.

Message from the Executive Director
We heard your requests
As CVE Master Management continues to move ahead with the planning of CVE Central Park, we are constantly making changes based on resident desires.

CVE Central Park will be a one-of-a-kind destination unlike anything in other South Florida retirement communities. While so many communities are losing their entire golf course to development, CVE Master Management was able to save the majority of our land in order to bring you a beautiful outdoor space that will increase both quality of life and property values.

During our latest planning session, it was decided to remove a proposed children's playground from the plans. It was also decided to reduce the amount of parking to be built near Richmond. Both these decisions were the result of important feedback from you, the residents.

As we continue to move forward, I will keep you updated on both planning and progress of CVE Central Park. I hope you are as excited as I am about the inclusion of this great outdoor space in our village.
Be well. Stay Safe.
