TOP STORY
We've moved, but still open
In response to resident demand, CVE Master Management has arranged to continue the COVID testing clinic that was at Le Club for two weeks last month. But there's one change. It's in a new location.

Due to scheduling at Le Club, the site has been moved to the Target parking lot on the corner of Hillsboro Boulevard and Powerline Road. The address is 3248 West Hillsboro Boulevard, Deerfield Beach.

Testing hours will be 9:00am to 6:00pm Sundays through Thursdays. It will close an hour earlier at 5:00pm on Fridays. There will be no testing on Saturdays.

The continuation of the clinic by CVE Master Management is the latest move to demonstrate that Master Management views its responsibility of caring for the Village to go beyond simple property maintenance.

Look for the blue tent in the Target lot marked "Mobile Health Labs."
CVE Master Management running bus service to new testing site
As part of its plan to continue the COVID testing, CVE Master Management is adding the testing site to the East bus route.

The bus departs every 30 minutes from the clubhouse. Due to the added stop, you are asked to be patient if the route runs a bit late at times.
City opens new walk-up COVID testing site
The City of Deerfield Beach, in coordination with the Broward Department of Health, has opened a free walk-up testing site at Oveta Mckeithen Recreation Complex, 445 SW 2nd Street.

The site hours are Tuesday-Saturday- 8:00 AM-4:00 PM.
The new Master Management Annual Report is out
This 2021 CVE Master Management Annual Report is now available. It provides a snapshot of some of the more significant accomplishments over the previous twelve months. It also previews upcoming capital improvement projects in 2022. A printed copy of the report is available in the Master Management office.

Three quick items...
1) We would like to remind you please do not feed the ducks or other wildlife in the Village.

2) All tennis players will notice the Tilford courts look nicer. We just pressure cleaned all the courts. This summer, we will also be repairing the courts.

Making CVE safer!
Keep an eye out for about 150 new light poles that are being installed in the Village. It will be easy to "keep an eye out" since they all will be providing better, safer lighting at night!

Bike safety reminder
With so many residents returning to the Village, more residents than ever are biking around CVE. An increase in both walkers and bikers means it is even more important to know the "Rules of the Road."
  • While bikers may use the paths, bikers are asked to use the road.
While you are permitted to bike on the paths, an increase in the number of walkers has made it more difficult to ensure the safety of everyone. If you can, we ask that you bike on the side of the road WITH THE FLOW OF TRAFFIC.
  • Bikers must yield to walkers on the paths.
Bikers must yield the right-of-way to walkers on the paths and give an audible signal before passing them.
  • If on the road, stay to the right.
Bikers on the road should stay to the right except when passing other bikers, when preparing to turn left, or when avoiding a hazard in the roadway.
Message from the Executive Director
We believe how CVE looks is as important as how CVE runs
By now, you probably realize that we at CVE Master Management view our role as more than a property management company.

We consider ourselves stewards of the quality of life that has made CVE one of the most desirable retirement communities in South Florida. Quality is, in fact, the entire theme of our new CVE Master Management Annual Report. (Click HERE to read it). A big part of that quality is how the village looks.

This month, our crews are busy replacing and replanting much of the beautiful landscaping that sets us apart from other communities.

For us, the work is a labor of love. We know how much you value the beauty of the village (and how much it helps increase property values).

So the next time you're out for a walk or a ride, take a moment to stop and appreciate the flowers, trees, and bushes that punctuate your route. You can even stop and read the small plaques we've installed that teach you about what you're looking at.

Finally, if you are curious about the progress of other projects in the village, I invite you to watch our January 2022 Board of Directors meeting during which I reviewed several current and future projects. You may click HERE to view it.

Be well. Stay Safe.
