To support our ongoing commitment to accurate, reliable, and verifiable listing data, CVR MLS requires that any listing using a non-tax source for square footage include a supplement that clearly supports—and matches—the reported figures.
CVR MLS Rules allow a wide range of acceptable supplements, including appraisal reports*, floor plans, sketches, and similar documentation. Please consult your broker for guidance on preferred sources of square footage.
Before activating a listing, verify that all square footage fields are complete and accurate. We’ve recently seen an increase in active listings displaying “0” above-grade square feet, which can negatively impact search results and listing visibility.
*If using an appraisal report, do not upload the full document. Provide only the redacted page showing the square footage.
