Seller Paid Closing Costs Field
After feedback from our committees and users, CVR MLS has changed the Seller Concession field in the Pending and Closed Input forms in Matrix.
The field name has been updated to Seller Paid Closing Costs. This field is intended to capture all seller-paid closing costs towards the buyer’s closing costs, prepaids, discount points, and loan expenses.
Agents should no longer include seller-paid buyer agent compensation amounts in this field.
If you closed a listing in the past few months and would like CVR MLS staff to adjust the field amount to represent only closing costs, please send your request to mls@cvrmls.com with a copy of your closing statement.
Social Media Dos and Don'ts
Social media makes it easy to share information with a click of a button. While it may be tempting to share another agent’s listing on your social media page, there are dos and don’ts to sharing.
CVR MLS regularly receives complaints from listing agents whose listings have been reposted to another agent’s social media page. Before you hit Share, make sure that you are doing so within the parameters of CVR MLS rules.
As our lockbox batteries get older, you may notice that the lockboxes are responding more slowly. If you think your lockbox battery is low, please emaillockbox@cvrmls.com.
CVR MLS staff can swap the battery or replace the box entirely.
New Year, New Road Rules
Don’t forget to take a Road Rules of CVR MLS course to earn a $250 fine waiver. Fine waivers are valid for one year from the date of course completion, and you can always keep one on file.
Road Rules of CVR MLS is also available as an on-demand eLearning.
MarketStats provides ready-to-share PDFs of housing statistics across the region. You can use this data to generate detailed reports based on your chosen metrics. The statistical data found in our MarketStats tool on your MLS Dashboard is updated by the 15th of each month.
