The app requires no training and no extra equipment; it will work with almost any smartphone or tablet you already own.

The first half of the course will cover CVR MLS Road Rules, in which you will learn how to avoid costly MLS violations and earn a $250 fine waiver, good for one year from the date of the class. The second half will be a special edition of Tech Time, where Adam McEwen will highlight new technologies and upcoming enhancements to the MLS.

As a part of our Compliance program, we are auditing listing square footage to ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability. Here are some tips:

• If you are using the square footage source “per tax” your square footage must match the tax records.
• If you are trying to add additional square footage that is not documented in the tax record, you must select another source of square footage and provide the appropriate documentation in your supplements.  
• If you are using square footage outside of the tax record (per owner, per appraiser, etc.), be sure to select the appropriate square footage source. Additionally, per CVR Rule 5.6.2, you will be required to upload the documentation supporting your square footage as a supplement to the listing. Substantiating documentation means sketches with corresponding square footage figure(s), appraisal reports with just the pertinent information included, or other documents that provide validation for how the square footage calculation was determined.
