$3348.00 Raised for CVSA
November 2015
Minnesota had it's 8th Annual Dinner and Silent Auction on November 8, 2015, in Inver Grove Heights, MN. Hosts of the event were Maria Buhl and her son Brent (who has CVS) and Elizabeth Eubank (who has CVS) and her husband, Chris Rustad.
The evening was well attended and included over 100 items to bid on.
The auction raised over $3300.00!
These individuals have all worked together the past eight years.
Thank you so much for your time and effort to support the CVSA. Congratulations to all of you!

Wins Prestigious Award
"Symbol of Tomorrow"
November 2015
Shun Emoto (pictured 3rd from the right), won this prestigious award in November for praising young innovators in the public health field. He is the youngest person to ever receive this award. Mr. Emoto made a speech at the ceremony about the importance of rare disease research and enlightenment of rare diseases.

Santa's Secret Workshop
Fundraiser to Honor
Granddaughter
Julia Benway - December 2015
Carol Kupetis, from Willowbrook, Illinois was able to raise
$218.00 in honor of her 15 year-old Granddaugther, Julia Benway, who has had CVS since the age of 4.
St. Isaacs Jogues Hinsdale
welcomed a number of vendors during the school day on December 9th
for some Christmas Shopping Fun. Julia's cousin, Ava Kupetis, attends the school as a First-Grader.
The students and their parents had an opportunity to shop for their families throughout the day. Carol, owner of Champagne Tastes, made and sold chocolate fudge Christmas trees along with boxes of chocolate covered Oreos for the Santa's Secret Workshop holiday event.
Thank you Carol for raising awareness in your community, and for supporting the CVSA in honor of Julia! The $218.00 raised has been added to our
2015 - Holiday Cheer Campaign.

Exciting Medical News!
Go Fund Me Project
for the Adult Guidelines for Diagnosing and Treating CVS
Goal Achieved - December 2015
The CVSA and the American Neurogastroenterology and Motility Society (ANMS) have partnered to develop Adult Guidelines for diagnosing and treating CVS!
We are thrilled to announce that after 7 months the CVSA
has raised $22,180.00
to publish these guidelines! We are planning to donate half of the Hope Starts Here with Holiday Cheer Campaign fund to the Adult Guidelines project as well which brings our total up over $30,000.00.

A New Conference Call
Support Group Coming Your Way in January 2016!
Finally, a way to meet people without having to leave your home!
This opportunity is offered by Cricket in North Carolina. She hopes this will give callers a consistent place to join in for hope and support. Please remember that
you can call in from anywhere in the U.S. or Canada
. Please note the time zone!!
Starting in January of 2016, Cricket will be holding a support Group call on the 2nd Monday of each month. This call will be at 7PM Eastern time, 6PM Central,
5PM Mountain and 4PM Pacific time.
The meetings usually last an hour. Feel free to join in on the call anytime to listen and hang up when needed.

promptly at the time the call is scheduled
