Blue Ridge Juvenile Detention Community Work Partnership Program
The Blue Ridge Juvenile Detention Center is launching a Community Work Partnership Program, designed to connect local businesses with supervised student workers inside the detention center. This program allows businesses to outsource appropriate tasks (packaging, labeling, sorting, assembly, etc.) to the facility, where residents can complete the work in a structured, safe, and professionally supervised environment. In return, participating businesses provide donations that are used to compensate the students for their efforts.
