Conference 2021 Overview

CWCF's first-ever fully virtual conference provided a great sense of community and a series of interesting presentations and workshops. Note that video recordings will be posted as they are ready, along with slides.

CWCF's AGM featured the usual business, including presentation of the financial reports and budget, reports from the President Reba Plummer (above) and the Executive Director, and acclamation of four directors to the board.

With about 70 others (total Conference registration of 165), we attended the Nov. 16 sessions of the Conference hosted by the Canadian Worker Co-op Federation and came away energized, impressed, and better informed.

Eric received the award for his many years of dedicated service to the worker co-op movement.

London Brewing Receives Worker Co-op Best Practices Award

London Brewing Received the award for their commitment to sustainability and the use of local ingredients and for their innovative marketing practices.

CWCF Seeks BIPOC Board Advisors

As announced at the AGM, CWCF is seeking two BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and other People of Colour) Board Advisors. Applications are due to Executive Director Hazel Corcoran by December 20, 2021.
