CWNY is pleased to participate with Artivism: The Power of Art for Social Transformation in hosting a Multi-Venue Global Exhibition, "Art for a Purpose" at our Fort Totten Park location in-person on Saturdays, May 7, 14, 21, and June 11 & 18. The opening reception will be on May 7th from 1 - 5 PM. Check out our flyer here. See you there!

We're starting our Gardening and Sustainability Workshops in-person on Thursdays, May 12, 26, and June 9, 23. Register here.

Our next Financial Literacy Workshop, "Car Ownership: Buying, Leasing, and Selling and the Current Unique Market Conditions" will be on Wednesday, May 18 at 8 PM.

Our Founder, Ann Jawin, posthumously received the "Women in Achievement Award" from St. John's University. You can view the award presentation here.

The Center for the Women of New York helps women overcome financial, violence, social, wellness, and legal issues by raising awareness and advocating for full gender equality for women, understanding their needs, and connecting them with CWNY services, nonprofit partner organizations, and public resources to aid, uplift, and address their challenges.
