CWNY news & updates
Summer 2021
We hope you are having a safe and happy summer. We, at CWNY, have been busy planning for future services and programs to address the needs of the women of New York. All women have suffered in some way during this pandemic, and it is our goal to offer support where it is most needed. Our 2021-2022 focus will be SOCIALIZATION AFTER ISOLATION and CAREER DEVELOPMENT AND JOB REENTRY. Your input is important in helping us prioritize and plan. We greatly appreciate you taking a few minutes of your time to answer this short survey.

We are thrilled to share that we started the first steps toward the renovation of the second floor of our Bayside building. Thank you, Council Member Paul Vallone, City Council Speaker Corey Johnson, and Queens Borough President Donovan Richards, for securing capital funds to complete construction of the second floor of our historic building in Fort Totten. Thanks to the support of our local officials, CWNY will have a building dedicated to empowering women across New York City. This space will allow us to provide programs and services that address economic, emotional, and legal challenges.

The Board of Directors would like to thank Victoria Pilotti, former President of CWNY, for her leadership, wisdom, and strength, during her service to the community, the organization and the women of New York. We are very lucky and grateful to have her continue as one of our volunteers.

If you have any feedback, questions, comments, or suggestions, please email us at info@cwny.org. We are always happy to hear from you.

Enjoy the rest of your summer!
