Looking back God brought everything together in His way to make the Leadership Conference a success! It was a great time of fellowship, learning and planning. I kicked off the conference by asking the leaders, and myself, to examine ourselves and get rid of anything holding us back from being the leaders God wants us to be. There was teaching on leadership, interpreting scripture and other things preparing the church leaders to go back to their churches and continue the work God has given them. I again spoke at the closing encouraging them to GO and make disciples as Jesus commanded.
One of my favorite parts of the conference is the question-and-answer time at the end of sessions and the individual and group discussions that occur after a session. This year some of the question-and-answer time flowed into the next session. I look forward to hearing from the leaders this year as they report on how God has used what they learned at the conference in their churches and in their communities.
