Now that the Holiday season has passed, it's time to get moving on our Spring Season!  Online Spring Sport Registration is OPEN!! This issue of the CYA Weekly BUZZ introduces all of our Spring Sport offerings. We are updating content on our website as quickly as possible so please be patient if you notice pages that are outdated..

CYA Little League Baseball

Coordinator: Sean Collins

Little League Baseball is for boys and girls ages 4 - 12 and includes a Challenger Baseball Program for kids with physical or mental challenges.

CYA Babe Ruth Baseball

Coordinator: Dave Gould

CYA Babe Ruth Baseball is for kids ages 13-18 and participates in the Northern Fairfax County Babe Ruth Program - www.nfcbaberuth.com. 

This should be another exciting season as our league will compete against other area programs and our all-star team will look to win another Virginia State Championship! Join your friends for a fun and competitive baseball experience! 
CYA Basketball

Coordinator: JP Prochazka

The CYA Spring Basketball Program is for all boys and girls in grades 4-12 regardless of skill level.

We also sponsor a spring AAU Travel program for boys and girls in grades 4-11.  
CYA Flag Football


CYA Flag Football is for boys and girls ages 6 - 16. The program has grown year after year and we expect to have enough players this year to offer recreational and travel opportunities!

2022 is going to be our BEST YEAR EVER!   
CYA Lacrosse

The CYA Lacrosse Administrators are hard at work getting things ready to roll beginning in January. We are asking everyone to register early to help us establish numbers for uniforms/gear and submission to NVYLL for league play.
 
For new players to CYA
Our league rules require that your child be in one of the following high school pyramids to play for CYA - Chantilly HS, Fairfax HS, Oakton HS, or Westfields HS.
CYA Soccer

Soccer Coordinator: Ryan Quinn

CYA Soccer is one of the largest and most accomplished soccer programs in Northern Virginia! Our program accommodates boys and girls of any skill level spanning ages 4 - 19. The past year has been VERY exciting with many expanded programs on the 2022 Horizon!

CYA Softball

CYA Softball is poised to become one of the most prestigious softball programs in the region! Softball has recreational play for all skill levels and high level travel programs for girls ages 7 - 18. We even have T-Ball for players age 5-6!

Tennis
CYA Tennis

Coordinator: Doug Keggereis

For the 24th year, Chantilly International Tennis will bring you the CYA tennis program!  
 
Over 350 kids participate in CYA Tennis annually and we expect another HUGE year in 2022! Three 5-week sessions for house league beginning June 6th. These sessions usually rach full capacity so register ASAP!   

The CYA Tennis Program is held at Westfield and Chantilly High School tennis courts.
CYA Volleyball
Coordinator: April Day

2021 was an awesome year for CYA Volleyball and we are excited to grow the program even more in 2022. We introduced play at the CYA Fieldhouse for several age groups last year and what a terrific experience that was for our athletes! We have locked down even more time at the Fieldhouse this spring.

The CYA Boys Volleyball Program took off last year as well and we are working hard to expand the number of players/teams in 2022.

Next on the horizon for CYA Volleyball.... CLUB Level! With the CYA Fieldhouse as our home base, we have the ability to support and grow a unique club volleyball program. If you are a Volleyball enthusiast/coach and would like to help in this endeavor, please reach out today!
Play Safely at the CYA Fieldhouse!
Our staff at the CYA Fieldhouse is doing a terrific job in making sure all of our members and user groups are kept safe. In order to support them, we have some simple procedures in place that absolutely need to be followed by anyone who is taking part in recreational activities at the FH.

MOST IMPORTANTLY... we are limiting spectators at the Fieldhouse to ONE ADULT PER FAMILY for all practices and Games.

We ask that everyone comply with this simple rule and understand that the our goal is not to keep you from seeing your child play. With COVID on the rise in Fairfax County, we are simply doing everything we can to keep your kids playing. We may need to institute a "no spectators" rule again in the near future but as of January 3rd, 2022, we are not at that point yet. Stay tuned.
