Greetings from the Pilgrimage Team!
We are eight weeks away from our Pilgrimage Trip to San Juan, Puerto Rico. There are three adult chaperones, Sarita Pettit, Sara Gorby, and Maunsel Hickey, and five pilgrimages, Eavan Brown, Freya Colvill, Ida Belle Gorby, Carter Hickey, and Scout Kendall.
We will be traveling March 22-30, 2024. Please keep us in your prayers.
Pilgrimage is a spiritual, cultural/historical, and service opportunity for high school-age young people. We strive to step out of the comforts of what is known into a new experience to gain a better understanding of our relationship with God, the world, one another, and ourselves.
We spend about two years in preparation as a group community building, trip research, planning, and spiritual exploration. Fundraising is ongoing with events like Wagon Days Chairs and Chili each year. Pilgrimages occur when there is a dedicated group of young people who are called to this type of experience.
