AUGUST 2020
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
- Phillippians 4:6-7
LOOKING AHEAD AT CYT KANSAS CITY
Like many other organizations and families, CYT KC is continuing to adjust to the guidelines, rules, and realities that have come with the coronavirus pandemic. We know many of you are anxiously awaiting our plans for the upcoming year, and we can't wait to share them with you! However, we are still hard at work finalizing them in order to ensure that we are meeting all national, state, and county guidelines and regulations and that we are keeping all our CYT families and staff safe.

While we can't share all the specifics of everything that's in the works, we want to give you a little taste of what is coming:

Other safety procedures such as temperature checks and cleaning protocol will also be in place for in-person events.

We are so excited to get back to dancing! Take a look at our upcoming dance classes and events, and make plans to join us and get moving and grooving.

This month HYPE will be doing a fundraiser for CYT that everyone can participate in. Whether your thing is video games, baking, or even arts and crafts we are taking donations from anything to go toward CYT KC! We encourage students to think of things that they can do to help raise funds to support our community. More examples would be a garage sale, mowing lawns, and cleaning out your closet and selling old clothes. We will be matching all donations up to $1500! We’re so grateful for any help we can get. Let us know you’ve donated via email at [email protected] and donate at https://www.cytkc.org/support/ ! Remember to keep an eye out on our social media and in future newsletters for more awesome fundraisers we may do!
CYT is a blessing to our families and communities. All families are welcomed and invited to join us for fun amazing opportunities that our leaders and staff create, teach and guide students as they learn and grow they become the very best they can be.

If your child has a developmental disability, we invite you to register under the HEART (Helping to Encourage Awareness and Recognition in Theater) program by filling out the Heart Program Application and Student Support Form that will provide valuable information to help us plan for accommodations that will benefit your child’s experience with us.

Please contact  [email protected]  for more information.
