What an amazing turn-out for the 12th Annual CYT Gala! It was a totally awesome night of community and celebration. Through your attendance, sponsorship, donations and support, we raised over $60,000 for CYT Kansas City! We are blessed beyond measure and praise God for His faithfulness!

A BIG shout-out to our Raffle Ticket Selling Contest Winner: Jayden Randolph sold 144 raffle tickets and won the grand prize of Apple Airpods, a free spring tuition, and a free spring production fee! Thank you Jayden!

All CYT students who sold at least 10 tickets were entered into a drawing for $100 cash! Congratulations Annabelle Haas !

There's something for everyone this year including Half-Day, Full-Day, Xtreme, Drama, and Overnight Camps!
And introducing our newest Full-Show Day Camp - Seussical Kids where kids ages 8-12 will spend the week rehearsing a full show to be performed for family and friends!
Teen Assistants are a vital part of our summer camp team! They make a huge impact on campers' weeks and receive community service hours or CYT credit that can be used for classes and camp tuition.  

If you are interested in being a teen assistant for summer 2019, please sign up for an interview time HERE ! Interviews will be held Wednesday, April 17 from 5-8 p.m. and Saturday, April 27 from 1:30-4:30 p.m. at the CYT Studios (6800 W. 153rd St.).

When you come to your interview you will need to bring the following items:
  1. The application form with all pages completely and thoughtfully filled out, including the parent/student commitment section. (Find application HERE)
  2. A letter of reference written and signed by an adult UNRELATED to you; this reference should explain how he or she knows you and why he or she believes you would be a good Summer Camp Teen Assistant.
  3. A completed medical and photo release form, located at the end of the application packet.

Break a Leg Project Dance!
Our Project Dance team is heading to New York City April 25-28 to participate in the National Project Dance movement. The team will be
performing dances in Times Square and have the opportunity to share the love of Jesus through dance. They will also be taking dance classes, participating in worship, and hearing from speakers in the dance industry.

Any interested parents/kids are welcome to contact Megan Flynn-Mesmer for the audition sides and info on how to send a tape for the director. Great director and crew and should be a very fun piece in the style of the new IT/Stranger Things. Nice festival piece for someone starting out, IMDB credit and a little pay as well. Not much but $100/day.
