Talk with representatives from local schools, attend seminars on a variety of topics, and more. Open to all ages!  Foothills Library, September 25th. 1-4:30pm Enjoy a live special performance of swinging popular standards performed by Big Band Grandstand! Foothills Library, September 26th, 6-7pm ‌ Learn how to use string and colored beads to create your very own beaded pet… No feeding or walks required! Choose from a variety of animal designs. All materials will be provided. Ages 12-18.  Velma Teague Library, September 26th, 6:30-7:30pm Sing, jump, stretch, bend, dance, tumble, and twist along with Ms. Luz, a family educator for Benevilla Family Resource Center. For caregivers and tots 2-5 years old. First come, first served for the first 10 families on the day. Velma Teague Library, September 27th, 10:30-11am My office is open and ready to assist you. Now Accepting Vendor Applications ! LIBCON West 2022 is happening Saturday, December 3, 1-6 PM at the Velma Teague Library and Murphy Park! We are now accepting applications for vendors and exhibitors! Being a vendor/exhibitor at LIBCON West is free! Click the link below and fill out the form. Help Shape Your City by Serving on one of the City's Boards or Commissions If you are a Glendale resident looking for a way to serve your community, have a special interest or are an expert in a particular field, consider applying for one of the City’s boards or commissions. If you are interested in serving, applications are always accepted. Annual appointments are made every January. Appointments are also made throughout the year as vacancies occur. Applications will be kept on file for two years and you will be contacted if your application has been recommended by one of our City Council members. IT’S BAAAAACK! The AZ Halloween Marketplace, formerly the Haunted Swap Meet, is now a two-day event consisting of artisans selling hand-crafted or original wares, entertainers and make-up artists, and of course, all members of the public who love Halloween and want to spend an afternoon immersed in the greatest of holidays. Cactus District Pavement Management Program (PMP) Update

The City of Glendale’s Transportation Department is continuously working to improve and maintain our roadway network. Maintaining a strong network of streets is beneficial to all, at the regional and local level for connectivity, safety, and economic growth.
