STATUS OF CACTUS AND PINE CHAPTER EVENTS

Thanks to the hard work of our allied associations and many individuals, we are fortunate that golf in Arizona has remained open throughout these unprecedented times, though not without unique challenges. And though there appears to be light at the end of the tunnel, it is still unknown what the landscape will look like on the other side.

Through the uncertainty, please know that the Cactus and Pine is always available for any of your questions or concerns. Feel free to reach out to any Board Member with your thoughts.

As of this email, all previously scheduled Cactus and Pine events have been taken off the calendar and postponed. As state mandated regulations change, and in full consideration for the safety of our members, events will resume when the time is appropriate.

Through trying times, often our character is revealed. We've been overwhelmed and hopefully you've been witness to the extraordinarily supportive, innovative and cooperative character of our business, industry and fellow members.

Continue to take care of yourself, your family and your people.

PMD (OPM) License Renewal Date Extended until July 31

Important Announcement from the AZ Dept of Agriculture RE: PMD Licenses

Note: This applies to folks maintaining a PMD (OPM) license. Most GC Superintendents have transferred licenses to the Dept of Ag under PUG licenses.

1. Your business license expires May 31. And, because it does not require CEUs to be renewed, it must be renewed by or prior to that date.

2. Your qualifying applicator and applicator certification expiration date has been extended to July 31. This is due to many of the continuing education courses being cancelled. This delay allows you more time to accumulate the necessary CEUs

If you have any questions, please contact licensing at 602-542-3578 or licensing@azda.gov .
