Good afternoon!

The Cadet Programs team has been working closely with IT and we are excited to announce multiple improvements to eServices and its applications. Check them out below!

Updated RegZone Information Page & Twice-Monthly Office Hours

We have been working on updating the RegZone info page to provide more relevant information about the platform, including a growing best practices section, office hours signup, and how to submit bug reports & enhancement requests.

Beginning in April 2026, we will host Office Hours twice a month to help answer questions, work out event issues, and provide recommendations and best practices for using our Registration Zone platform! Attendance is not limited to just Cadet Programs Officers - members in any duty are welcome to attend. Office hours are drop in, so you can come and go as you please, no RSVP required. Two sessions will be held each month:

  • 1st Thursday of the month, 12-1pm central time
  • 2nd Wednesday of the month, 7-8pm central time

RegZone Attendance by Unit Report Best Practices

The Attendance by Unit Report shows leaders what events their members have applied to, both within their unit and across the wing & nation. NCSAs, Encampments, SAREXs, STEM workshops - if the event is in RegZone and you have a member signed up for it, they will show up on this report. This can be helpful for unit-level leaders to meet the requirement in CAPR 60-1 8.1.3 of informing the Wing DCP if a cadet is attending an activity hosted by another wing.

"P" for Pending on Cadet Protection Course Completion Report & Level 1 CPP Changes

After a member completes their summary conversation, it is entered in eServices Professional Levels but still needs to be approved by the unit. Previously, the summary conversation column on the Cadet Protection Course Completion Report would be blank - it now shows "P" for pending to remind unit leaders that one of their member's CPPT still needs to be approved. This only applies to the first time a member completes Cadet Protection - renewals are automatically approved.

Additionally, Cadet Protection and Level 1 completion paths have been separated, so a member can complete CPPT (CPPT Basic in Level 1 and summary conversation) and show as current prior to completing Level 1. Note that this does not work in reverse - Level 1 cannot be completed without also having done Cadet Protection.

Cadet Promotion Tasks Now Editable

Individual promotion tasks can now be edited or deleted after submission, allowing local leaders to fix data entry errors themselves without needing to submit a helpdesk ticket to NHQ. Only tasks for the cadet's current promotion can be edited, and tasks from Absorb of the HFZ module cannot be changed. HFZ changes can be made in the HFZ module itself. If a change needs to be made to the cadet's effective promotion date, you will still need to submit a helpdesk ticket. We have updated the Cadet Promotions User Guide, available here, to help users navigate the cadet promotions application.

My Expirations Widget

The My Expirations widget on your eServices home screen shows when your current Cadet Protection credential expires. For members in a duty position that requires CPPT Advanced, cards for both basic and advanced may appear. Only CPPT-A must be renewed. It also includes your membership expiration date, first pilot qual set to expire, and the highest ES qual skill set to expire. Hover over each item to learn more.

CEAP Closing Reminder - 15 April

The CEAP (Cadet Encampment Assistance Program) application process closes at 5pm Central Time on Wednesday, April 15th. All Unit Commander approvals must be completed by this time. Decision emails will be sent to the cadet, parent email on file, and Unit Commander on Thursday, April 16th. Any questions can be sent to ceap@capnhq.gov.

We have several other changes and enhancements we are working with IT on coming in the future, and the best way to keep track of them is by checking the eServices Release Notes that is published in the News widget on your eServices home screen.

If you have questions about any of these updates, please reach out to our team at cadets@capnhq.gov or submit a helpdesk ticket. Thank you for all that you do to support our cadets, transforming them into dynamic Americans and aerospace leaders!
