CAFÉ AT REDWOOD SHORES BRANCH LIBARY

The café at Redwood Shores Branch Library is open for business! We’re excited to share that the newly renovated café space is once again open for relaxing, snacking and connecting. The refreshed area now features two convenient vending machines: one stocked with a variety of sweet and savory snacks priced between $1.75 and $2.00, and another offering cold beverages including water, juices, drinks, coffee, and cappuccino ranging from $1.50 to $3.25.

The café offers a welcoming space to catch up with a friend, take a study break or simply enjoy a quiet moment with a cup of coffee. You’ll also find a community jigsaw puzzle on the back counter — feel free to stop by and add a few pieces! We’re so happy to have this additional gathering space available for our Redwood Shores community.

While you’re at Redwood Shores Branch Library, join us on the second and fourth Monday of each month for Let’s Play: Board Games for Grown-ups. Our next gathering is March 9 from 11am to 1pm. Drop in for an afternoon of board games, jigsaw puzzles, cards and more. We’ll have a mix of modern favorites and timeless classics ready to go, along with light refreshments to keep the fun flowing. Grab a friend — or make a new one — and let the games begin! This program is supported by Measure K funds.

This year’s theme, Grounded in History. Shaping the Future., takes a fresh approach, guiding attendees through a series of stories rooted in places across Redwood City that reflect the priorities shaping our community today. City leaders will highlight how Redwood City’s history connects to current initiatives and future direction, offering reflections on progress and what lies ahead for residents, businesses, and neighborhoods. Attend in person or tune in online—don’t miss it!
