The Paycheck Protection Program Increase Act of 2020 (H.R. 266) has been signed into law

An additional $310 billion has been injected into this critical program to help small businesses stay afloat during the COVID-19 pandemic. $60 billion will be made available to exclusively to community lenders so that smaller businesses have a better chance at securing a loan.

Applications for these loans are extremely competitive, and funds for this program are expected to be depleted as soon as next week.

If you need liquidity, you need to act fast. Portions of the loan used for payroll, utilities, and lease or mortgage interest costs will be forgiven. Contact your lender TODAY for details and to take advantage of these loans.

CalOSHA Releases New Construction Standards

Cal/OSHA has just published guidance for COVID-19 Infection Prevention in Construction, which can be found on the Cal/OSHA Coronavirus webpage.

Beware of Legionnaires' Disease
Bacteria can grow in standing water leftover in pipes, which can become a health risk when residents or owners return to their businesses.

The most common form of transmission of Legionella is inhalation of contaminated aerosols produced in conjunction with water sprays, jets or mists. Infection can also occur by aspiration of contaminated water or ice, particularly in susceptible hospital patients.
